The Litunga Shall Honor the 2023 Ukusefya Pa Ng’wena
The King of Barotseland, his majesty the Litunga of Barotseland will grace this year’s Ukusefya pa Ng’wena ceremony.
The Chitimukulu and the Mwinelubemba underscored the importance of inter-cultural exchange for nation-building. They said, the Litunga’s visit is of historical significance as there has been no cultural exchange at this level in the histories of both AbaBemba and Lozis .
Though the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE), have not yet addressed the kingdom about the Litunga’s trip to Northern Province. Meanwhile this year’s Ukusefya Pa’ngwena Traditional Ceremony of the Bemba people of Northern province is scheduled to run from the 17th to 19th August, 2023.

Three Buses and other Smaller Vehicles have been Secured for the trip.
